Tripartite Membership
With a joint effort between your local component, the Maine Dental Association, and the American Dental Association, membership guarantees to meet your needs as each level offers valuable benefits and resources. A dentist must be licensed and practice in the State of Maine to be eligible for membership.
Eligibility
To be eligible for membership, a Dentist must be licensed and practicing in Maine.
Application
The American Dental Association, The Maine Dental Association, and your local component have a tripartite membership structure. Therefore, final approval of your application provides you with membership at all three levels of your professional associations: local, state and national. For complete information regarding the Bylaws and the Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct of the American Dental Association which govern the professional conduct of members, please visit ADA.org/ethicsconduct.
